Refund Policy

Every Kindling & Hammer item is made to order — printed, sewn, or finished specifically for you after you place your order. Because of that, our policy is built around quality and accuracy rather than open-ended returns.

Returns and exchanges

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind
  • Wrong size selected at checkout
  • Color appearing slightly different than on screen (monitors vary)
  • Customer-side address errors

If you're unsure about sizing, please check the size chart on each product page before ordering.

Damaged, defective, or misprinted items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or printed incorrectly, we'll make it right at no cost to you. You have two options — replacement (preferred) or refund.

To start a claim, email us at peakpostagent@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery with:

  1. Your order number
  2. A clear photo of the issue (and the shipping packaging, if it's a damage claim)
  3. A short description of what's wrong

We'll respond within 24 hours and arrange a replacement or refund — whichever you prefer. You will not need to ship the item back; we'll provide instructions if return shipping is required for warranty purposes.

Lost or missing packages

If your tracking shows delivered but the package hasn't arrived, please:

  • Wait 48 hours (carriers occasionally mark "delivered" early)
  • Check with neighbors, household members, and any safe-drop locations
  • Contact us at peakpostagent@gmail.com with your order number

We'll work with the carrier to locate the package or arrange a replacement.

Order changes and cancellations

Made-to-order items begin production shortly after checkout, so:

  • Within 2 hours of ordering: we can usually still cancel or change the order — email us immediately
  • After 2 hours: the order has likely entered production and cannot be modified or cancelled

Late or missing refunds

If we've issued a refund and you haven't received it after 5 business days:

  1. Check your bank or card statement again
  2. Contact your bank or card issuer (refunds can take time to post)
  3. If you've done both and still don't see the refund, email us at peakpostagent@gmail.com

Sale items and gift cards

Sale items and gift cards are final sale and not eligible for refund or exchange, except in the case of damage, defect, or misprint as outlined above.
